My mom came to help when our oldest daughter was born, and although that was 20 years ago, I still remember some of the advice she gave me during that time.

Have her sleep in her own bed……Let her cry……Put her down……
Don’t start any habits now you’re going to have to break later.

My mom knew I’d need two things to become an Unstoppable Mom: sleep, and boundaries.

That attention to “me time” has served me well over the years, as have many of the great examples I’ve seen from mothers around me. Like my mother-in-law, who taught me that a great kid’s activity could be as simple as using an empty spice jar and some toothpicks for hours of motor-skills fun. Or my sister-in-law Carley, who teaches her kids to be self-reliant and also help with household responsibilities at a young age.

Every mother has some pearl of wisdom worth sharing, something that another mother may have never thought of, but which might help her immensely. In the spirit of sharing that wisdom, the makers of Children’s Motrin® have launched the #UnstoppableMoms campaign.

Moms may not always realize it, but they are amazing in so many ways. Moms are on call day and night and have so much unique knowledge that can really help other moms. That’s why the makers of Children’s Motrin® are asking moms to share this knowledge in the form of tips and tricks that help keep them going. These can be their own tips or those from moms they know, and can be about everything from how they create quick meals for their family to how they keep the kids entertained on a long drive.

Share Your Tips for Being an Unstoppable Mom, and You Could Win!

The makers of Children’s Motrin® are asking Moms to post their tips and tricks to the Motrin® Facebook page under each week’s Kelly Ripa question video. For every post, Children’s Motrin® will donate $1 to Safe Kids Worldwide, a global nonprofit that provides moms with the tips they need to help keep their children safe. Moms could even win weekly giveaways of $100 gift cards just for posting!

Tips are shared in one of five categories: Meals, Kids’ Activities, Shopping, Household, Me Time. A different question will be asked each week from one of these categories. Past questions include:

  • What are some of your quick, on-the-go breakfast solutions for your family?
  • Are you the mom with all the tips and tricks for throwing the best kid parties without breaking the bank? Please share these ideas.
  • Everyone knows that kid’s rooms can get messy. How do you motivate your kids to keep their rooms tidy?

I know some of you have great answers to these questions! I’m wondering: in which of the five categories do you think you have the most advice to give? I’d love to see you share your tips & tricks shared on the Motrin Facebook Page!
