Last week, Heather from Heather Likes Food hosted a small group of Portland-area bloggers for a fun – and tasty! – “play date” with Tree Top. It was a great chance to get out with my 6yo son Eli, and let him play while I got to visit some old friends and make some new ones.
Heather and Tree Top rolled out a delicious lunch for us, complete with Tree Top’s new Fruit Full shelf stable fruit smoothie.
Fruit Full comes in two flavors – Strawberry and Mango – and each serving contains 3g of fiber and 10 percent daily value of vitamin C. Fruit Full is made with 100 percent real fruit and contains no high fructose corn syrup or added sugar. I tried both the Strawberry and Mango, and loved the flavors! I was happy to see that they are not too sweet, but are both light and refreshing. I can see how Fruit Full will be an easy, convenient way to increase our daily servings of fruit.
While we ate and the kids played, Heather showed us how versatile Fruit Full can be – she demonstrated her recipe for Strawberry Mojito Mocktails, using the Fruit Full smoothie. I’ve personally never had an alcoholic mojito, but I can say this Fruit Full version was very delicious!
Here’s the recipe, in case you’d like to try it out for yourself! This comes from Heather’s site, Heather Likes Food:
The fun wasn’t over yet! While we sipped on our Strawberry Mojito Mocktails, the kids came back in and got together for some fun fruit crafts. I was surprised at how engaged my son was with this activity, and thought the results were too cute.
Before leaving, we got together for a group photo, and a big Cheers! for a fun play date with Tree Top.
