I’m Trying Not To Snicker

Tomorrow morning I hop a flight – all by myself! – to visit with my family in California for a week.  Tables will be turned as my husband (who travels A LOT for work) holds down the fort, or as I call it, “The Looney Bin.”  I’ve left him a detailed calendar of activities, lots of instructions, and more than a few tips and suggestions.  We’ll see how long it takes for him to call me with a question (or ten).

After all, look what he’s up again in just the first few days:

Mwuahahahaha…cough, cough, sputter…….I mean, Don’t worry honey, you’ll do great!  (<——insert unconvincing cheerful grin)

  • Have a great time!!!

  • You did a wonderful job of maping out all of the kids activities. It should be a no brainer for your husband and yet, overwhelming due to lack of practice. I’m sure they’ll all be fine 🙂 Enjoy your time off with your family in California! The good news, I’m sure you’ll have plenty to blog about when you get back.

  • That is so great that you were able to get away. I know my hubby doesn’t appreciate all the planning and detail that go into running our house day to day. I went to Colorado to throw my sister a bridal shower in January for 4 days and somehow hubby managed to get by.
